WANNABABIES is a pro-life cartoon web site dedicated to promoting the pro-life message. The solution to the current debate must begin with genuine dialogue. Genuine dialogue begins with thought but without anger.
Ryan Bomberger, creator of the Radiance Foundation, who has created numerous viral pro-life Youtube videos, said the pro-life movement needs to pay a lot more attention to its design and messaging. “Our design has to be intentional. Our messaging has to be intentional. It also has to be revelational, and there’s a beauty in brevity,” he said. Wannababies seeks to epitomize that ideal using a touch of humor and irony.
CONCEPTION The concept of Wannababies originated in 1992. The "babies" were originally created to share cultural diversities at McClellan Air Force Base, Sacramento, California. Not much has changed in cultural diversity since 1992 and the "babies" were not received well by several members of the team. Suffice it to say that it was not politically correct to present babies of different ethnicity's at that time. I vowed to use my "babies" for another purpose at a later time. That purpose became offering a voice to the unborn by placing my "babies" back into the womb.
HISTORY Over the years, Wannababies has been published by several pro-life organizations. The National Right to Life published Wannababies in March 1995 and again in July 1996.
The Huntington Country Right to Life has been publishing Wannababies in the CAMPUS (Huntington North High School newspaper) since 1995.
I am eternally grateful to all who have supported and published Wannababies and my hat is off to your continued efforts to support LIFE.
BOOK ONE It was about time to consolidate Wannababies into a collection of panels and pro-life commentary. So, in 2011, the first Wannababies book was published. Efforts are under way for Book Two (Pregnant Pause).
FORWARD Efforts to support LIFE will continue for WANNABABIES as long as the unborn are at risk.

Why DOES Mark do WANNABABIES? The least of mine - None could be more defenseless than the unborn. Discussions on the issue however have taken emotional tangents that fail to resolve the issue of enabling ALL to participate in LIFE. Each WANNABABIES panel targets thoughts to bring the emotions out of the equation. Once open discussion occurs, real communication can begin and we may all recognize that other solutions are needed. We all own the responsibility of abortion.
